We now have THREE branches of one wonderful company! All members of the company have the opportunity to attend open classes at the other branches (for free). While they rehearse separately, all of our dancers will perform in the same end-of-season concert as one company.

FAQs

CAN I BE A MEMBER OF MORE THAN ONE BRANCH?

Yes. Because the rehearsals do not conflict with each other, dancers have the option to be a member of two branches for more class/rehearsals each week, as well as have more casting opportunities in the end-of-season concert. (Placement depends on available space)

CAN I SWITCH TO ANOTHER BRANCH MID SEASON?

Once the casting decisions have been made for the season we cannot allow transferring to another branch. Dancers have the option to take open classes or understudy work at the other branch at no additional cost if they would like to work with more artists as long as there is space at the studio to do so.

WHAT IS THE MEMBERSHIP FEE?

The membership fee is dependent on each season: How many weeks in our season, the studio rental fees, the venue rental fees, and how many members we have. We work hard to keep these membership fees as low as possible (typically between $5-$10 per week) which covers everything for the season including photography, videography, classes, choreographers, costumes, lighting design... all of it!

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE AUDITION?

Outlet is made up of a variety of dancers with different backgrounds, ages, skills, weaknesses, etc. We can guarantee you, whether this is your first audition post college or your first audition after years away from the dance world... you will not be alone! Also, our directors do not believe in making cuts during the audition process so dancers can keep their focus on the dancing (without the worry).
